Circa 1870, this lovely onyx pendant has a gold, diamond and seed pearl flower detail on the front. The diamond measures approximately .70 ct and is of nice color and clarity. On the GIA scale it measures approximately H color and VS2 clarity. The seed pearls are all in good condition and are well matched in size and color.
The back of the pendant has two hooks to attach to a chain, a locket compartment that was probably originally for hair, and a pin back. It can be worn many ways.
The pendant itself measures approximately 1 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at its widest. Including the hooks, it measures approximately 1/2" thick.
It is sold on a 14k yellow gold, long link chain from about 1915. It measures approximately 24" in length.
